Two ledgers kept by Phelps and miscellaneous papers relating to his law practice, political career, and personal affairs, including his involvement with the estate of Daniel Henshaw, an invitation (1844) to the American Institute Fair in New York, N.Y., the purchase of a pew at St. Stephen's Church in Middlebury, and an agreement with John Noyes to work on Phelps's farm.
